We can think of Stéphane Dion, Canada's ambassador to Germany, France and the European Union, or Bob Rae, Canada's ambassador to the United Nations. These are positions that sometimes go unfilled for months, particularly in France and China.

What would you expect in terms of potential changes to those appointments?
