I'm going to give you a bit of information. According to its 2022-23 annual report, the Veterans Review and Appeal Board says that 94% of its hearings are for cases concerning hearing loss and tinnitus, and that over 90% of these cases are adjudicated favourably in funding and support for these veterans. This corroborates what many veterans have been sharing with us, which is that VAC acts more like an insurance company denying veterans claims.
Why not approve these claims in the first place, reduce wait times and reduce stress on veterans?
