Procedure and House Affairs committee  Perfect. That's what I was going to get at. I was going to ask if some recommendations would be forthcoming with respect to how something like that could be handled. I have 30 seconds left. If one were so inclined to open an investigation into this, how would that happen?

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you, Madam Chair. Madam Chair, my questions are for Mr. Perrault and are on the topic of election financing. There are reports that there is a lot of money that's currently being raised by the protests and blockades that are going on in Canada right now that is coming in from foreign sources.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you. Sorry, and I did say through the chair at the beginning so this is all through the chair. What is being done to ensure that happens, through the chair?

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you. By my count, I have three minutes left. Through you, Madam Chair, what if the money that was raised was utilized by a third party? For example, there are a number of banners that are being erected around the Wellington Street area on the back of trucks that say Pierre Poilievre for Prime Minister.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  Thank you, Madam Chair. Through you, Madam Chair, to Mr. Dion, my first question is in reflection of what I've heard over the last hour and a half. I'm curious to know if you and your team ever stop and reflect on whether or not there's the possibility of overbureaucratizing a process at the expense of accomplishing the objective.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  My other question has to do with the changing environment in terms of how people will commute to the Hill. I drive from Kingston. I drive an electric car. When I get here, I plug it in. When I started doing that four years ago, there was always availability. Now I'm finding that when I show up here, there's no availability.

Procedure and House Affairs committee  My first question, Madam Chair, has to do with—and I know it's been talked about—the relationship between members of the House and the Senate and the ongoing work in the working groups, but I know that at the beginning of this discussion in the last Parliament, where I was on PROC as well, we raised some concern with respect to the fact that senators in particular, with whom we will be sharing the building, have a better continuity than members of the House in view of the fact they don't have to get elected.
