Information & Ethics committee  We can always improve our processes, that's for sure, and we're always striving to do that. One of the measures we want to improve is actually part of the recommendations we made to the Treasury Board Secretariat in terms of some of the statistics that need to be collected in order for Parliament, other institutions, and our office to better understand what is going on in the system.

Information & Ethics committee  Part of the issue is that we're talking about planned spending. It's not the spending that we plan strategically when we develop our strategic vision for an organization. We say we forecast that over the next three years this is where we want to end up and these are the resources we're going to need.

Information & Ethics committee  I think there should be and could be a section of this document that addresses that idea. It addresses it in part by our identifying some of the external factors that are going to put pressure on the delivery of our program, which is what we have here, but it doesn't translate into our expectations in terms of additional resources, and I think that could easily be added.
