Veterans Affairs committee  We do have people who prefer to work four days a week, but we look at it as full-time equivalent, FTEs.

Veterans Affairs committee  It depends on the individual. We have a flexible workforce, but when I report the number of employees, it's full-time equivalent, so it's equivalent to five days. One full-time equivalent may be two warm bodies—I hate saying it that way; it sounds cold—but we work with full-time equivalents.

Veterans Affairs committee  As the deputy said, we have not changed policy. What we have done is looked at how the policy was being applied across the board because, over time, there have been some differences in the application. Nobody has been cut off. When people say they've been cut off, nobody has been cut off.

Veterans Affairs committee  They are fully staffed, notwithstanding the fact that I have 10.9% turnover. They are fully staffed.

Veterans Affairs committee  Some locations are very busy. I can think of a place like Trenton. I can think of Petawawa. Some other areas are not so busy, but we work with them to support them. The funding is there to get the people to come in and also to publicize it. We did start a review of some of these locations.
