That is why we are taking concrete action. We implemented a new verification process to authenticate acceptance letters. Intergovernmental Affairs  Madam Speaker, post pandemic, we had to increase our immigration levels so businesses would have the workers they needed. Our economy is doing well. We recognize the need to balance immigration levels with pressure from housing and infrastructure, which has led to stabilizing our immigration levels for 2026.
