Health committee  We were contacted by a variety of officials, as Grant Malkoske mentioned, starting on December 5. That started a series of discussions with officials throughout the balance of the time until the legislation was passed, and frankly after that, because that's when we started to have conversations around the communication protocol.

Natural Resources committee  The honourable member mentioned we were informed on the 20th, but we were first informed on the 21st. I just want to make sure that is on the record.

Natural Resources committee  We can certainly get that information for you. We treated the news on the evening of the 21st most seriously. In the meetings on the 22nd we had conversations with AECL and Natural Resources Canada, and communicated quite clearly that as a result of the outage we would see a global supply shortage at that time of approximately 30%.
