Medical Isotopes  Mr. Speaker, Canada has a world-class medical isotope ecosystem. From production to processing to delivery, we house almost the complete isotope supply chain. One of Canada’s largest medical isotope clusters is in my riding of Kanata—Carleton. Companies like Nordion, Best Theratronics and BWXT Medical are leading the market in developing, manufacturing and supplying isotopes.

Conservative Party of Canada  Mr. Speaker, the Conservative Party opposite is far too comfortable using divisive, sexist rhetoric to gain cheap political points at the expense of women. It is crass. It is gross. It is reckless. Let us not forget that the leader of the Conservative Party used misogynistic hashtags to drive alt-right traffic to his YouTube page.

Global Defence and Security Trade Show  Madam Speaker, this week I visited CANSEC, Canada's largest defence and security trade show, and what a show it was. From wearable exoskeletons to a new generation of light armoured vehicles to the technology that will take the first Canadian to the moon, what a show it was. I was blown away.

Semiconductor Industry  Mr. Speaker, when the pandemic impacted our semiconductor supply chain, one thing became very clear, which is that Canada needs to nearshore this critical economic sector. I am proud that our government is working to do exactly that by building a semiconductor corridor across North America.

Abortion Rights  Mr. Speaker, as I speak, just outside this House, a protest is under way spouting anti-choice chants with the goal of tearing away a woman's access to abortion. Countless women have fought for years for our right to an abortion, a hard-earned freedom, to privacy, to autonomy and to choice.

Health committee  Thank you very much. It's very insightful as we look to recommendations as the report is completed and written. Thank you for that. I had another question in that vein, but I know I have limited time, so I'm going to go to my other point. As all three of you were speaking—but particularly you, Ms.

Health committee  Thank you very much, Chair. Thank you to all three witnesses for being here and for sharing your experience, your expertise and the work that you're continuing to do. It's obviously so crucial as we attempt to tackle this study. I wanted to pick up on two things. The first thing I wanted to go back to was from you, Ms.

Health committee  Actually, before we go to Dr. Lennox, can I also expand upon that, just to ask you to comment on the complexities of private clinics versus hospitals, and what that dynamic adds to this issue?

Health committee  Thank you, both. To me, as I think through this process and many aspects of the work we do here, it's the dynamic of how we interact with a province and how we can ensure that, despite various responsibilities and roles, we are able to bring them onside to work well for the betterment of Canadians.

Health committee  Thank you very much, Chair. It's a pleasure to be with you today. I'm not a typical standing member here, but I'm happy to have the opportunity to interact on this important issue. We have heard in the past, and a bit today, that the safety of medical devices in Canada is a shared responsibility.
