Finance committee  There are already tools in place to deal with critical financial situations, an emergency plan is already in place in virtually every collective agreement across the country to manage these critical financial situations so that the university's mission, rather than commercial interests, remains the primary concern, which is paramount.

I'm joined by my colleague Linda St‑Pierre, and we represent the Laurentian University Faculty Association, or LUFA. Laurentian University is located in Sudbury, Ontario. The LUFA union represents over 500 academic staff.
